DMX 64
modular
matrix with 64 x 64 crosspoints
modules for AES, SP-DIF, ADAT and TDIF
signal distribution
format conversion
software controlled
50 memory locations for presets

The
modules can be assembled in any combination.
The
DMX 64 is a modular
64 x 64 crosspoint matrix and signal distributer. The
mainframe, which is 5 rackspaces high, contains the controller
and MIDI interface and an internal clockbus.
The DMX64 uses the same modules as DMX16 and DMX32. Small
systems can easily be expanded just by exchanging the
mainframe.
16 modules can be inserted (each with 4 inputs and 4 outputs)
to build a matrix upto 64 x 64. Any combination of modules may
be assembled, so that AES, SP-DIF, and ADAT and TDIF format
can share one matrix. Any physical conversion between optical,
coaxial, balanced and unbalanced formats is done within the
matrix. If data conversion (CONSUMER/PROFESSIONAL) is needed
please refer to our MQ4
format converter module.
ADAT format can be switched and distributed with the MOP4
module. If conversion between AES SP-DIF and ADAT "lightpipe"
or TDIF1 is needed please refer to our MQA
or MQT module.
