DMX64
16 modules
|
Each module has 4 inputs and 4 outputs for either
digital audio stereo pairs (S/P DIF, AES/EBU,
T-DIF) or, when optical, for ADAT eight channel
"lightpipe" signals.
Any combination of the different modules can be
assembled into one matrix, so various formats can
share the same matrix and even format conversion
is possible within the matrix using the MQ4, MQA
and MQT modules.
Signals up to 24 bit and 96 kHz can be received
and transmitted on AES/EBU and S/P DIF stereo
lines, while ADAT "lightpipe" is limited
to 50 kHz, but with upto 24 bit wordlength.
8 channel ADAT signals with 48 kHz can be routed
as well as
4 channel ADAT signals (SMUX) with 96 kHz. |

MAES
4 x transformer balanced in/out
the MAES module offers 4 transformer balanced
inputs and 4 transformer balanced outputs with AES/EBU
specification:
110 ohm, sensitivity 200 mV, output 3 Vpp,
connected via a D-SUB 25 connector,
an XLR breakout cable with 1.70 meter is also
available. |

MCO4
4 x coaxial in/out
the MCO4 offers 4 coaxial inputs and 4 coaxial
outputs with S/P DIF specification:
75 ohm, sensitivity 100mV, output min. 0.5 V |
 |
|

MOP4
4 x optical in/out
the MOP4 offers 4 TOS LINK inputs and 4 TOS LINK
outputs which can receive and transmit optical S/P
DIF signals upto 96 kHz or ADAT "lightpipe"
signals up to 50 kHz. |
 |

M2-2
2 x coaxial in/out
2 x optical in/out
the M2-2 offers 2 coaxial inputs and 2 coaxial
outputs with S/P DIF specification (see MCO4) and
2 TOS LINK inputs and 2 TOS LINK OUTPUTS for S/P
DIF signals or for ADAT "lightpipe"
signals (see MOP4). |

MQA
Quad AES/EBU-S/P DIF <> ADAT
Converter Module
The MQA offers one ADAT input and one ADAT output
on the rear, and is connected to 4 sources and 4
destinations of the matrix inside the DMX16/32/64.
The MQA detangles the ADAT "lightpipe"
signal into 4 digital stereo signals (1/2, 3/4,
5/6, 7/8) which appear in the matrix as 4 sources.
Each stereo signal can be routed to any
destination in the matrix, whereby CONSUMER or
PROFESSIONAL format can be selected.
Four digital stereo signals with different formats
(S/P DIF or AES/EBU) and even with different
sample rates can be routed to the MQA module and
are merged into one ADAT "lightpipe"
signal. The four sample rate converters on the MQA
module are synchronized to the ADAT input or to an
external WORD-CLOCK at the BNC connector.
ADAT <> T-DIF conversion is possible with an
additional MQT module. |

MQT
Quad AES/EBU-S/P DIF <> T-DIF
Converter Module
The MQT offers one T-DIF input/output on the rear
and is connected to 4 sources and 4 destinations
of the matrix inside the DMX16/32/64.
The MQT detangles the received T-DIF into 4
digital stereo signals (1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8) which
appear in the matrix as 4 sources. Each stereo
signal can be routed to any destination in the
matrix, whereby CONSUMER or PROFESSIONAL format
can be selected.
Four digital stereo signals with different formats
(S/P DIF or AES/EBU) and even with different
sample rates can be routed to the MQT module and
are merged into one T-DIF signal. The four sample
rate converters on the MQT module are synchronized
from the WORD-COCK at the T-DIF input.
T-DIF <> ADAT conversion is possible with an
additional MQA module.

MQ4
Quad Format
Quad Sample Rate
Converter Module
The MQ4 is connected to 4 sources and 4
destinations of the matrix inside the DMX16/32/64.
Four digital stereo signals with different formats
(S/P DIF or AES/EBU) and even with different
sample rates can be routed to the MQ4 module to
change format (CONSUMER / PROFESSIONAL) and sample
rate. Sample rate conversion is clocked from the
BNC clock input. |
